Car-ride trouble! Aggghh

So...you know how everyone says how much little ones are supposed to love the car? Well, not my little one! EVERYTIME we ride in the car, she screams in the back like someone is killing her. It is driving me crazy, and I dread going anywhere with her. It doesn't help for someone to sit back there with her, and we have tried dangling something in front of her or putting her sleep sheep in there. I just dont know what to do....anyone else have this problem? TIA for any ideas...

    My friend's LO was like this. I wish I had a solution for you but nothing worked for her either....she eventually grew out of it though so hang in there.

    Try pulling her carrier shade over her face.  She may be getting over stimulated.

    I know it's summer but our boys have to have a blanket over them in the car. If not they are fussy too. I agree wtih PP too, try pulling the shade down.

    My LO does this too. The only thing I found that *sometimes* works is putting her in the car seat asleep. GL

    if only my DS would stay asleep when i do that...

    i'm right there with you - for the most part DS HATES riding in the car.  if i have to go out i try to wait for when DH gets home so we can go together so i can sit in the back with him so i at least know that he is okay.  

    i heard that he will grow out of  it... i just hope it isn't too long!

    Lo is like that too. Not much works. Occasionally stopping and putting her paci in does.
