  • As far as being too big - That's totally up to you and what you feel comfortable in.  And, I mean, a Size 16 and 5' and a Size 16 and 5'11" are two completely different things, you know.

For casual clothes, I'm a huge-fan of Old Navy and they have pretty good prices, especially if you wait for a sale. Maybe just some yoga pants, a cami and a t-shirt, long-sleeved t or hoodie.

I didn't mean there was anything bad with that, by the way.  Just that it's really up to you, you know? Body types can be very different, regardless of size, weight, etc.

Whatever you feel comfortable in and makes you feel good!

  • im in the same boat only im 5'10. i need a 14/16 now and pretty much hate my post baby body

i personally wouldnt want to wear leggings and a big tunic now.... i think the silhouette appears larger and makes me look bigger. i have an hourglass figure so hiding my waist is bad.... if i was apple shaped the outfit would look great on me......

wear what feels comfortable for you!

spanx is your friend!! buy some!

  • i forgot to add....

around the house i wear terry crop pants or yoga pants with a tank or a pretty v-neck tee.

Jeans with a little stretch,  (find a good pair that fit you fabulously and wear the heck out of them. i have a pair of michael kors i LOVE and old navy sweetheart jeans are good for curvy girls too.

i buy tops that emphasize my bust then skim the waist without being too flowy (i have big boobs so it helps.

I think this depends on where you carry your weight but I'm going to assume that since it's baby weight, it's probably mostly in your belly in which case I would say no to leggings and a tunic. I think it would likely make you look bigger. I think you should get one nice pair of jeans and a couple of shirts from someplace like Target or Old Navy (if you sign up for coupons at oldnavy.com they will send you % off all the time (at least monthly and often more). Good luck!
