Medela PIS Pump vs. PIS Advanced - Which one?

I registered for the Medela PIS Advance one b/c the battery pack comes out of the purse. It also seems like a more accesable bag...However, those seem to be the main difference for $50 more....does it make sence to go with the Advanced over the regualr?

    I went with the advanced honestly because of the reccomendations about it from friends and the reviews online. I really couldnt see s difference when I was readin gup on them but Im sure if you go to their website they have a side by side comparison that you can do.

    Do you mean the Freestyle? I have the PISA and sometimes wished I could take the motor out of the bag if I didn't have a lot of space to pump.

    The Regular Pump IN Style just has one setting, whereas the Advance has two settings it has "2-Phase Expression which simulates a baby?s natural feeding cycle. The Stimulation phase replicates the initial suckling pattern which is light and rapid, whereas the Expression phase is slower and deeper for increased milk expression. The one-touch let-down button allows easy changing between phases."  this set up on the advance is supposed to simulate how a newborn suckles and encourage milk to let down. 

    I bought the advance with DS#1 and will be using it again.
