My belly button never changed when I was pregnant with Jillian. DH says I have the deepest belly button in the world, and I think he might be right. I was kind of excited for it to flatten out in the hopes that I'd find some candy or money in it. Reason #24064 I can't wait to be pregnant again is I want to see what it looks like at 39 weeks. I have a feeling it won't change next time either.

Re: s/o belly buttons
I will definitely remember to ask.
this whole post cracked me up.
However, when the inn-y belly buttons start to become out-y belly buttons it makes me embarrassed. I will probably tape mine down if I ever gt pregnant. I know the momma can't help it but some how it reminds me of a nipple or something. I don't know . Flame away, it causes me embarrassment

I also have a deep belly button. At 35 weeks, not only is it still an innie, but there is still depth to it.
I don't think it will pop at all.

On one hand, I'm kind of glad nothing happened to it. My belly button is SO sensitive, especially way in there, and having the most sensitive part out scares me. I'm sure I'd be banging it into shiit and crying about it all the time.
Also, crazy person confession: there were several times after Jillian was born that I wondered if my crappy cervix and non-changing belly button were related. I was grasping at any straw I could find.
mine just got flat at the end, never popped out, but I delivered at 36 weeks.
oh, and it was a vom button if pushed. totally weird feeling for me.

during the u/s, the technician commented on my deep belly button and how it was causing him problems trying to see the baby.
and it never "popped" or really flattened out. just got a little more shallow.
This. And I also hate having my belly button touched. It hurts! Thank goodness it's deep.
