SHE DID IT!!
She went to the police around noon, explained the situation and they have everything on file. He has until Friday to vacate her home, otherwise will be removed by the police.
They think he's using Oxy, and apparently two weeks ago things were so bad that when she refused to give him $20 for "smokes" , he punched a wall and said "that could have been you..."
I am SO proud of her for standing up to him finally and going to the police for help! Now she's packing up valuables and whatnot to make sure that he doesn't take off with anything of hers, or my Dad's for that matter.
Now we sit on pins and needles til Friday when he leaves! He was NOT happy when she broke the news to him after getting back from the police station.
EDIT: THANK YOU so mch for your T&P and continued support throughout all of this! I really appreciate it!
Re: NBR: mom/bro update!
Wow! I'm glad she finally did this for herself and the mental health of those who love her. I bet he wasn't happy. Suddenly his controlled environment dumped him.
I have no tolerance for users. I have huge compassion for their families.
Sending you and your mom tons of HUGS!
I didn't respond to the post earlier, because I couldn't find the words to say. I found myself mad about her situation, so I found it best to keep shut :P lol.
I am SOOO glad that she went to the cops. I am so proud of your mom! That had to take a lot of courage, especially considering he is starting to be violent. I just hope and pray he doesn't do anything between now and Friday to hurt her. But, major props to your mom. I hope this resolves all of her issues with him and his behavior. Your family is def in my T&P's hun! Give your mom a hug for me (if that's not freaky), I'm sure she needs it.
So glad that she went in and spoke with the police. Hopefully things will go alright and he will be out of there on friday with a minimal amount of drama.
You are a great daughter, and she is lucky to have you!
thanks everyone!!! I really really appreciate the support and the strength that ya'll sent to her today.
He is one messed up puppy, and I hope that he sees the need to get help soon. She dropped him off at a friends before she called me and said that he actualyl said "Thank you" when he got out of the car....Im assuming it was for the ride and not for being kicked out, but we shall see how it shakes out!
thanks - I haven't felt like a great daughter in being so angry about the situation and being so....hardheaded about boundaries etc. but I think I did the only thing I could to keep my family safe
