Ugh, I am in serious need of a shower but LO won't nap. He's been up since 9 am. He's happy in his swing right now but I'm afraid to leave him in it unsupervised. Usually I'll wait til he's asleep in his crib, but at this rate I won't be able to shower for days!
Re: What do you do with LO while you shower?
I either put him in his boppy on the floor of the bathroom or put him in his little bouncer on the floor in the bathroom.
He is with me always when I shower (I don't trust ds1 alone with him).
If you are really worried about leaving him in the swing, can you move the swing into the bathroom? Or outside the door?
I did that the first few times with LO in her bouncer. Now that some time has based, I'm not worried about it as much so I don't do it.

If DD's not napping when I want a shower, I make sure she's fed and changed then just put her in her crib with hher soother and mobile going. That usually keeps her occupied for the 15 minutes I need to get myself together. I figure that a few minutes of squawking under those circumstances won't hurt her.

this exactly...he usually falls asleep.
If Nate isn't home, one in the swing and one in the bouncer.

today though, for the very first time, after I had shampooed and shaved and such, i turned the water down, undressed her and let her join me. she loved it! She grinned so big when the water tickled her little tummy!
