Children's Zyrtec

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
This is probably a dumb question that I should of asked the Dr. but I wasn't thinking.  My daughter was just put on it for her allergies and our Dr gave us 2 sample bottles which will last some time.  My question is, is it a prescription or OTC?

    It's OTC. Runs us about $9 at the grocery store. Make sure the ones he gave you aren't on the recall list though. McNeil just recalled a lot of Tylenol, Motrin and Zyrtec.

    Thank you and I already checked, they're not on the list. 

    I felt silly asking, but they just send all our prescriptions over electronically, so I never even asked.
