3 day potty training, or another book/advice?

J is not yet 2 but seems super interested in potty training, tells us before he goes and during and so on but I am clueless where to start with it all. I assume he is too young but then I don't want to miss signs if he is ready. I do not have many friends with kids and my mom told me I wasn't potty trained till I was 4! Should I read a book about it or does anyone have any advice. Sorry if this is asked a million times here! Is the 3 day training a good ebook? If anyone has it and feels like emailing it to me I would love to read it (unless it is totally awful!) kleikin @ aol .com
Thanks so much for any advice!

Don't assume he's too young- if he's staying dry, if he's telling you and if he's interested in the potty- he's ready.  DS is 18 months old and is PL (we also use to use CD).  DS was accident free in 5 days (however, he still uses a CD at night).  For us, we just put him in big boy underwear and took him to the potty.  The first day we had a lot of accidents.  The 2nd day was much better.  By the 3rd- we had @2 and after that he got it.

  • We ended up having to brib our daughter with gummy bears. If she went to the potty, wiped, and washed her hands she would get a gummy bear. It worked very well for us, and it wan't hard to break her from wanting them everytime she went. I hope this helps you.
