Using frozen green beans for baby food?

I have a bag of Green Giant cut green beans....can I use this for baby food?  I'm just wondering if they will puree well or if something needs to be done to green beans before pureeing?

I would steam frozen beans all the time.

Yup, just steam them until they are really soft.

I have and dd didn't like the texture but I may not have pureed enough. I used frozen veggies often though and it was fine

I would steam them for a pretty long time, too.  Green beans never quite come out right for me, and my DD won't eat them unless they come from a jar.

Yes, I use frozen green beans. Just steam them well and they puree nicely. First time I made them I couldn't find my normal ice cube tray, so I resorted to my Halloween one. Scary green beans!

Yup, steam them and puree.  I found that they come out really smooth if you add a couple spoonfuls of applesauce to the blender.  Works with peas too.
