My picky eater

Ugh, sometimes mealtime is so frustrating. DS refused everything I offered for breakfast (all things he normally likes) and the only thing he'll eat is a piece of cheese.

Re: My picky eater

  • Yup - that's what's up for every meal just about every day of the week :( I read somewhere that kids are very in tune with the emotions of their moms, so if we freak out about meal time, they start avoiding the situation all together. I've been trying extra hard to be calm and peaceful and not freaked out by the fact that he's not eating anything, and it's actually been getting better...

I could've written this about my DS, too.  I'm stumped as to what to offer him!

  • My DD is extremely picky! The only good meal for us every day is breakfast...and since she eats it SO good, she gets the same thing every day!  Two packs of Quaker Oats oatmeal (regular) with a sippy of milk, and sometimes fruit afterward.  As for the rest of the day, I feel like banging my head in the wall!
