Need name help

We aren't sharing our baby's name until after the birth so I don't have opinionated family members sharing their opinions and need your help. I am really sold on Noah if it's a boy and DH likes it, too. Our last name, however, rhymes with pubic (yes, horrible, I know).

As unbiased Nesties, do you think he's going to get made fun of, as in some weird kid saying "You have no-ah pubics!" in middle school or is that a stretch, like my DH says? Thoughts? TIA

I have a strong belief that kids will find a way to make fun of or taunt another child if they want to regardless of the name. So go with a name you like.

My parents know our names and were talking about making sure none would be made fun of because they had worked on that. I said, 'Oh really mom?!" huh, because if you did, how did I end up being Nicole the Mole who lives in a toilet bowl". hahahha

I don't think you're "asking for it" with a name like that...kids will make fun of absolutely anything. We finally decided on the name Preston for a boy, and I thought I was in the clear since I couldn't think of ways to make fun of it, then I read that a little boy with the name was constantly called "Presto-Chango", haha...so really, they'll think of anything, just go with what you like!
