S/O Taking LO to MN Twins game

I saw a few people mention below that they took their LO to a Twins game.  We're bringing DS to the Twins vs Brewers game in May.  The ticket hotline says he doesn't need a ticket if he's under 30 inches.

What were your experiences?  Is this true?  Just looking to double check since DH didn't actually talk to a person.

Re: S/O Taking LO to MN Twins game

  • I did not go to the Twins game but have been to the Texas Rangers with my LO and with my nephew.  We did not have to have seats for them as they sat in our lap.  My brother/SIL did get a ticket for my nephew recently because he is 22 months old and this gave him more room to play during the game.

    Enjoy the game!

  • We went to Twins/Cardinals with LO in the Baby Bjorn. No one even batted an eye and the 30" and no ticket is true. Have a great time! Remember sunblock if it's sunny where you'll be sitting. :)

  • Yup definitely true, we didn't even get a 2nd look or question when we brought my baby (I'm the one that posted the pic :)
  • Under 30 inches?  Strange rule.  At Angels stadium if they are 2 and under you don't need a ticket.  Next game we go to, we'll probably by a ticket so we have a place to sit all of LO's stuff (diaper bag, blanket, etc.) and for extra room in general.
  • Thanks ladies!

ALG - I thought the 30 inch rule was weird too.  At the Brewers stadium it's 2 & under as well.

  • Yankee Stadium is under 30in as well.  Nobody cared at all.  I second the sunscreen. We also got him a bucket hat for added protection. He's a pale red-head like his parents.
