Has anyone taken their child to the SA Children's Museum? I was on their website and I saw that they have a toddler story time every day at 9:30 and also a toddler area for kids under 3. It's pretty cheap, only $7 for adults and free for kids under 2, so I thought I might check it out. If you have been, is it appropriate for young toddlers? Thanks!
Re: SA Children's Museum
We go all the time! My boys are almost 3.5 and 22 months and they love it! We started going last summer when my little one was right around 1, and he really enjoyed it even before he was a full-time walker. The downstairs/basement level has an adorable mini-HEB grocery store with mini shopping carts. He'd use the shopping cart as a push toy to get around. Once he started walking, he loved the museum even more.
I think the family membership is ~$60 for unlimited admission for a year. We ended up with the $100 membership that allows for reciprocal visits to museums around the country (doesn't work at the New Braunfels Children's Museum though). We went to CA over Spring Break, and were able to get into both the San Jose Children's Museum as well as the Bay Area Children's Discovery Museum in Sausalito for free with our reciprocal membership. If you travel with your kids, you might want to look into it.
