Awe cute! My LO has had them since about 20 weeks... now she gets them about 4 times a day and about 5 minutes each time.. by the end of the day - I'm just annoyed. But its still cute.

Speaking of hiccups do you know if their is any correlation to hiccups and baby practicing breathing? Therefore these would increase towards the end of the pregnancy? I want to say I read this somewhere, but I feel like this could be on OWT or that I could have gotten the info mixed up. I really don't trust my brain right now.
I'd like to think that this is true because my baby didn't pass his amnio due to immature lung maturity, at 36w 3d, (still a tad early.) Pretty much the next day my baby started having a lot more hiccups so naturally I'd want the above to be true.
Do all women feel hiccups?

I have heard that the baby gets hiccups b/c he/she is doing practice breathing and swallows the amniotic fluid. I have been feeling hiccups for several weeks now, and about 3x a day!
I'm glad to read posts about babies having the hiccups multiple times a day. I was starting to think my kid was turning into a hiccup. We have them every morning about the same time.

Haha! This, I sware it was a weird feeling! I have never heard of the breathing thing, but if that is what she is doing, I am so happy!
