how old was your DC when you started using your gym playmat??

    About 5 weeks I think it was... but she didn't really enjoy it that early...she would lay there and listen to the music but wasn't into the hanging toys etc yet.

    i put her on it early (~2 weeks) and all she did was look in the mirror or look around.  Only more recently (8-9-ish weeks) does she actually interact with it, laugh, kick her feet, and bat the toys around.

    We did tummy time on a different play mat beginning at 1 week. We moved to his playmat that he uses now at 2 months.

    I started putting her on it (back and tummy) around 3 weeks or so.  She didn't really start looking at the "stuff" on it until 7-8 weeks and didn't start grabbing at her toys until almost 3months.
    DD~6 years old~born June 6, 2008 (1st grade)
    DS~4 years old~born November 6, 2010 (1st year of preschool)

    I have been putting DD under her Gymni since 2 weeks old.  She has just recently started to "play" under it.
