NAP TANTRUMS

My daughter is a good girl, sleeps at night, goes to bed early. But naps are horrible. She's almost 2 and it's a fight everyday, she def needs one, but the tantrums are unreal. She'll cry for an hour and not sleep. I put her down at 1:30 or 2...what is going on?? What does anyone suggest?? Of course, when daddy is home and watching her. She goes down no problem. This situation is making my blood boil. HELP!!!!

  • My DD has started doing this in the last month or so. She goes down great at bed time. But same nap tantrums that you are having. It isn't the ideal situation but I have found that she will gladly just take her nap on the couch in the living room as long as we are sitting out ther with her while she falls asleep. I'd rather it wasn't like this because nap time was when I could clean and do a whole bunch of stuff around the house and now I can't since she is laying in the living room. But at least she is getting the sleep that she needs.
