I've been building up our freezer stash for when I got back to work (at 12 weeks though she won't go to daycare until 14 weeks since my mom will come back to take care of her at home for two weeks). I've got nearly 70 ounces saved and we're running out of room in the freezer (combination of bags and storage bottles). I can likely get another 5 or 6 bags in there (so 25 to 30 oz) - is that enough? We keep about 3 or 4 bottles of BM in the fridge too for when I leave her with DH or the ILs for a bit.
Re: Freezer stash...how much?
that should be good. Just keep building as you can, and don't stress out about it. I think that was one thing I wish I could relax about b/c it seemed that it was all I could think about - how much I had in the freezer and BM supply, etc. It really consumed me, and now looking back, I wish I could have relaxed a little about it b/c having to switch to formula ended up not being that big of a deal. Maybe next time! :-)
I would remember that I think you can store BM for 3 months in a normal freezer, so make sure to use the first in first out method, so none of it spoils. Plus, your BM changes as your baby grows, so what she needs as a newborn won't necessarily be what she needs as a 3 month old - so that's another reason not to hold onto your old stuff and to make sure to use it first.
At one time I had over 140 oz frozen between our inside and outside freezers. Space started to become an issue until I saw this handy dandy little storage idea! I started storing the milk like this and found that I had a ton more room. (scroll down, first picture has trouble loading)

(I too was obsessed with milk and would like to think that next time might be different but I'm not so sure about that...lol.) I think you can never have too much but it sounds like you have a great start!
