Good Sam Maternity Clinic?

Has anyone had their baby through the Good Sam Maternity Clinic?

I have insurance, but unfortunately, it doesn't have maternity coverage. I'm waiting for them to call me back, but I thought I'd ask on here to see if any of you had gone that route.

I'm interested in costs and quality.

TIA!

Re: Good Sam Maternity Clinic?

  • I looked into the Good Sam and Bethesda clinics, and decided to use the Trihealth Nurse Midwives.  They deliver at Good Sam and still offer the same plan.  When I had Ethan, it was $2400 for an all inclusive vaginal delivery or $2900 for an all inclusive cesarean delivery.  Their phone number is 751-5900.  I was very happy with their care!

  • I used the midwives also. We have a high deductible insurance plan and there were some unexpected costs with the midwives- they are considered an outpatient facility of the hospital so I had to pay a 80 dollar fee to the hospital for every office visit on top of the office visit cost. I loved them and was glad I used them but I would ask up front for details of the costs at the clinic or the midwives.
