Tooth visible through FRONT of gum....?

Hey ladies,

My 15 week old is teething. No, that's not a typo. My husband apparently cut two teeth when he was three months old-so she's following in Daddy's footsteps. Her front top tooth is peeking through the FRONT of her gum, not the bottom yet. Kind of freaked me out, but my MIL said that this is normal as the gums are thinner there, but the tooth will still actually grown down...Anyone else experience this? First time mommy here!

Yes, DD has this! I thought it was bizzarre as well! Not sure what will happen...the tooth hasn't broken through the bottom yet. We go to the pediatrician at the end of the month, so I'll ask about it. Not too concerned, though.

I thought it was a tooth - it is hard and white and poking through but my pedi said it wasn't a tooth.

DS has the same thing and he's miserable. I sure hope his teeth emerge soon.
