I haven't been able to write it down but my little 2lb 10oz preemie is a 19lb toddler, and I can't hardly beleive it! I have been lurking areound but this has been hard as many of you said it might be. Everyday, I would think about what I was doing day "X" in the hospital and what I should/could/would have done differently, but depressing stuff aside. I am so proud of him. He is easily pulling to a stand, crusing, he won't crawl ( altough he can) he army crawls and says mama and dada.
This was the first offical time he played with other kids and I didn't even think about germs, cold bugs or RSV. What a difference a year makes not just in our presious babies but for us as preemie parents. It was a great day. I made the cake. I thought about buying a cake but I just felt like my grandmothers and aunts were shaking there heads in heaven. The woman in my family all have a natural ability to decorate cakes. This was my first try and I think it went well. Thanks for listening! I added some picts

After all the veggies I give him he didn't trust that I didn't sneak some spinich in the cake. but.....

Once he tried it he LOVED it. This is mid "OMG, this is Chocolate" face!

The monkey cake and cupcake...thank goodness for the internet. I have ability but not the orginality! LOL

Best play picture I could get without the other kids faces, haven't asked there mommie if that is okay.
Re: First birthday/playtime withother kids!
Happy Birthday Trey!
Awesome cake and cupcakes! Madeline's first birthday was monkey themed as well. So cute!
