Giving birth cured my allergies!

I've had horrible seasonal allergies all my life, and when I got pregnant, they got much worse. However, since LO was born, I've only sneezed a few times and the pollen count here has been insane! My mom said the same thing happened to her after I was born. I feel so lucky and I hope it stays like this!

Re: Giving birth cured my allergies!

  • Pregnancy seems to have cured my allergies so far... hopefully they'll stay away!

  • I've had really bad acid reflux for 5+ years. I would not say that it got worse when I was pregnant, but I could not take my usual Prilosec when pregnant. I just took Zantac which did not work as well for me. Regardless I have not had one problem with it since giving birth and I've not had to take any meds for it either...not even Tums or Mylanta...NOT ONCE! Hoping it cured my reflux AND your allergies :)

  • When I had my first child (DD), I suddenly developed pollen allergies.

After the birth of DS last February, I have had no issues with pollen (knock on wood) and the pollen count has been so awful in my area.

I hope we are both lucky and it stays this way.
