Rhyming sibling names

Seen on the back of a mini van at Walmart: A sticker of a football with the name "Layne" and a sticker of a baseball with the name "Kayne".

ETA: I also knew twins named Amelia and Cecilia.

While I don't mind 'coordinated' sibling names to a degree, there is a line that should not be crossed. Rhyming names cross that line IMO.

    I think Layne and Kayne are just yucky anyway.

    I think Rhyming names for twins are ok, because it's kinda the "norm". I wouldn't do it because I think that each child should be individual, but I don't balk at it. For singleton siblings, I don't like it at all.

    My brother and I have rhyming names.  We used to bust my parents chops about it but it never really was a big deal.  We're ten years apart, though, and they had specifc reasons for naming us what they did.

    My twin sister and I have rhyming names. I'm used to it now, but wish they would have maybe gone with the same first letter instead of rhyming.

    Rhyming names are just plain wrong and should probably be illegal.  I had a woman in the grocery store ask me once why my girls names didnt rhyme.  it was very bizarre.

    I actually went to high school with twin girls named Heather and Leather. That tops anything I've heard since.
