Hey, girls. So I talked my RE today. For the FET, I have to be on estrogen because I don't ovulate naturally. I am pretty sure I am going to be on the patches. I wish I didn't have to be, but I don't have a choice.
He said I will be on baby aspirin with the Lovenox. I am going to confirm this with my hematologist on Monday. Are you doing that?
I am going to also be taking Provera and progesterone suppositories.
I will update you on Monday about what my hematologist says.
What is your Lovenox dosage, or what will it be??
Are you taking any supplements because of the Lovenox? I heard some women take folic acid or calcium supplements. ?
Re: ***Ginger67 & Onedaychristinak**
I take baby asprin also. I never get my blood checked because of the lovenox, I know you have to when you are on coumadin. I dont take any supplements because of the bloodthinners but never thought to ask.
Im on 40 lovenox a day. If I had to be on estrogen my hematologist wanted me on 80 twice a day. It goes by your weight though and Im def. not skinny. I called my RE yesterday and asked if I could be on a higher dose of the lovenox, I just have a bad intuitive feeling this is what caused my 10 week MC They told me that was def. a question for my Hematologist so I'll call him Monday
I asked a Lovenox question on the High Risk board, I think on Monday and got a decent response as to the dosage the girls were on. GL and lets keep trading info!
Good to know that you are on the baby aspirin also. I kinda want to take it as well.
I will page you on Monday when I know what my hematologist says. Have a great weekend! ?
Grazy,
I too do not ovulate naturally. So, the hemo and RE say that the estgrogen I take is a replacement, not supplement (or addition).
Iam also on baby aspirin to help with thinning of the blood. My RE also has me on Vitamin E that is supposed to help with that. I am currently taking Viagra suppositories due to my sucky lining. Finding out that I had this Protein S Def. is somewhat a blessing in discuise. I'm thinking that this may explain why my lining has been so thin due to poor blood flow. I too also think that this most likely had something to do with my MC at 9 weeks.
I am not sure my Lovenox dosage because I have not started it. I will check when I go in this week. They want me to start it a few days before my transfer.
I go to acupuncture once a week. One of her focus points is increasing and regulating blood flow.
Hope this helps. It's good to have you ladies to bounce ideas and questions off of.
