What time does your LO take a nap?

I'm asking because the past THREE toddler birthday parties we have been invited to were at 1-1:30.  The girls take a nap right at 1 every single day, and there's no way I can keep them up for another couple hours.  Then, I feel bad telling people, "well, we will have to be late because..." I feel like they are thinking "why can't nap time just be at 3 today?"  Is it just me, or this that a weird time for toddler parties?

  • he naps from 1-3/3:30ish

i think it's weird, but i guess if the toddler the party is for doesn't nap than they don't think much of it, kwim?

both Carson's parties have been after his nap, at 4pm.

  • If B naps its around 3ish.

Carly usually naps around 10am and then again around 2ish.

We have been invited to bday parties at 1:30 or 2:00. I guess I never really thought anything of it.

  • Rest time time is 1-2. For something like a party, my DD does OK without a nap, but I personally wouldn't have a party at that time. I fell like it either needs to be at 11 or 3.

  • I put both boys down around noon. The 2 year old usually wakes up around 2:30 and the 5 year old wakes up around 3:00.

I plan everything around naps. Naps are freaking sacred in this house.

  • Dd1 naps typically from 1ish to 3ish. I feel like the best part of the day is the morning for toddlers, so a party at 10-12 would be ideal.

  • She usually naps about 1, but just recently we can keep her up later & nap when we get home. Today we were out running errands, so it was 2:45 before she went down, but she was starting to get fussy. 6 months ago, that wasn't possible, she wouldn't nap at all if she wasn't down within 15 minutes of her nap time!
  • Madelyn usually naps from 1-2/2:30.

  • She usually naps at 12:30 or 1:00, but she can go all the way until 2:30 until it becomes an issue.  I think it's an odd time to have a b-day party, but then again DD becomes sooo whiny and sensitive w/o a nap that I'm willing to tell people we will be late if they schedule a party during her nap time.
  • If she does nap, its between 3-4pm for about 2 hours.

If we have something schedule around that time and she doesn't nap...she does pretty well.

If you have a party to go to during your LO nap time and they need a nap, then just be late.  They should understand.

  • I really don't understand why people plan toddler parties at 1:00pm.  That is generally nap time.  Normally my daughter goes down at 1:30 and sleeps an hour or an hour and a half.
  • My DD takes a nap at 11:30-12:00 at school. At home on the weekends it can be as late as 1 depending on what we are doing. We haven't been to many parties since I live out of town from family and majority of friends but DD's party this year was at 5:00, and my friends DS had his at 4:00 so they were dinner and plenty of time to nap!

  • At daycare she naps from 1-3.

At home, if she takes a nap (which is rare), she won't fall asleep until 3 or 4.

How old are the birthday kids?  Just asking as many of my kids friends who are 3 or older no longer nap.  My kids typically go down between 12:30 and 1 and will nap 1-2 hours.  We have been invited to a few parties that are from 11-1 or 12-2.  If I was invited to a party that started at 1, it would really depend whose party and if I could get my DD to take an early nap.
