Making your own babyfood...come on in!

Hey, all! Trying to figure out what type of food processor to get...i also have a blender, but thought it wouldn't do a great job with the small amount of food i'll be making...also, if you have any tips, faves, etc, i'll gladly take your advice! TIA!

    We already had a stick immersion blender so I just used that.  I wasnt about to go out and buy something special for the limited amount of time we'd be using it.  It worked out just fine.

    I used a mini chopper worked great. I made tons of stuff for DD but the only ones that didn't come out smooth were green beans and peas so I bought organics in glass jars. I couldn't get them to not be string-y and dry.

    I have a babycook (I also have 7 month old twins, so this handy device keeps me from burning the house down), but I would suggest an immersion blender- they're inexpensive, don't take up much kitchen space and great for making soups, sauces and dressings down the road.

    We had a Cuisinart Mini-Prep.  Worked great & it was pretty inexpensive.

    We used what we already had (a kitchen aid one).  If I was getting something new, I'd look for one that had an option to put a smaller bowl on it (instead of the full size one) and for ones with BPA free plastic. 

    I'd LOVE a Beaba Babycook :)

    I bought the Beaba Babycook and it is so easy and convenient! I saved the box with all the instructions etc. and am planning on selling it on craigslist when we're done with it so I can get most of my money back.
