Mariner's game - what to bring?

Hey ladies, we're going to the M's game tomorrow - what do you bring for your kiddos? Trying to pack things that we will likely need...

Toys/Snacks...
Do you carry them in, do a backpack carrier, stroller?
Do you think I need blankets/warm coats?

ahhh trying to pack for a whole day is torture! What should I bring?

Re: Mariner's game - what to bring?

  • I would say to skip the stroller and try to just do a carrier of some sorts. I just think the stroller would end up being a pain and there is sooo much foot traffic. A jacket is good but I'd also say a smaller baby blanket too, along with some snacks and their sippy cups. Maybe a couple of toys for them to play with (the only thing with that is there is hardly any room to bend over and pick it up if they drop it, or hit the person in front lol).

I think you already covered all of those bases that I just wrote lol but I hope you have a great time tomorrow! :)

  • We just went a couple weeks ago and did so in the Bjorn and Ergo carriers. Strollers would be a huge hassle IMO.  I did see a few but I have no idea what you do with them during the game and in places where there are stairs (depending on where your seats are).  We brought our regular diaper bag with some snacks and bottles.  We were there on  a sunny day so we brought sunscreen instead of a blanket but for a night game or cooler day, definitely a blanket.

You'll have fun and so will the kids!

We went a couple of weeks ago and did the same thing. The Ergo was way easier than a stroller, IMO. We also brought a couple of his favorite books, but mostly kept him occupied with food. It was fun, and he did really well.

  • A stroller would be a PITA so a carrier would be better.  At your boys' ages, will they stay in one?  I know DD would definetely NOT have.  lol

Food is a big one.  It usually will keep them occupied for a while.  I bring lots of snacks to the Sounders games for Audrey.

With the weather today, a blanket would be a good thing as well as layers!

GL!  What time is the game? I'm interested if traffic will be a cluster f... with the Sounders playing tonight as well?
