I have an incoming student next year...her name is Atheist Evolution "Smith". Why would you do that to your child???? Even if it is what you believe. Her thought was "people call their kids Christian so why not" Umm because it's your childs name, not a sounding board.

that's so mean! i would never name my child something having to do with my own beliefs because i would never want him/ her to believe something just because i do.
