I guess I can join the "work widows!"

BOO!

And I thought being home with the kids from 7:30/8 until 5 was a long day.  UGH!  This past two weeks, Joe has been getting home at 7:30ish.  Tonight, just got home 20 minutes ago.

We have been eating like crap...and way too late.  He's going to have to start warming his stuff up when he gets home and I'll just eat with the kids.  This is crazy.

Not to mention, I'm usually pretty DONE by 5:30ish.  So this extra 2 hour stuff is just for the birds.

But I know he's doing it for us and we could use the money (and his business could use the work....it was really slow for a while there).

I have my niece's/goddaughter's First Holy Communion tomorrow.  And yup, Joe has to work.  Guess I'm doing a repeat of last summer...just me and the kids.  I'm not sure I'm ready!

    I would kill to have DH home by 5:30.  7:30 is normal for him, but lately it's been more like 10:00.  In a few weeks, he leaves for a 4 week trial in Boston.  And the kids will be out of preschool.  I don't know how I'm going to manage.  Thank goodness for Paxil.

    Yeah, it can really suck big ones!  Mine has a crazy ever changing schedule with no rhyme or reason to it.  I never know whether to sh!t or go blind!  I mean, seriously, I gave up trying to cook because rarely is he ever home at a reasonable meal time....and I'm not eating that sh!t by myself!

    It does suck at times, but we got into our own groove.  Although I would even love it if DH came home at 7:30, that would be nice.  Unfortunately, he's gone a lot and 99% of the weeks out of the year he's gone from Monday morning- Friday night (sometimes through the weekend).  We make the most out of the time we do get together when he home on the weekends.
