NPR - which airline?

Which airline do you prefer to fly with any why (adults only, no children).

Which do you hate to fly with and why?

Re: NPR - which airline?

  • Southwest.  They keep it easy and have consistently been at the top of the industry.

  • I'm not really a seasoned flier but I like Southwest and love Midwest (for the "fresh baked" cookies).

  • I LOVE JetBlue however Southwest is more flexible if you need to change your flight.  Both airlines dont charge for the 1st baggage per person.

  • I like JetBlue because of the TV's. The rest are all pretty much the same, I go by schedule/price.
  • we've flown NW, Delta, AA, Continental.   mostly good experiences... of the 4... we had major issues with AA screwing up dh's itinerary and continental feeling cramped.

but it all depends on the flight/type of plane too.

  • Air Tran has always been good for me. Dh's sister works for Delta and it is company policy to overbook every flight (they expect a few people to not show up). They would prefer to give out refunds for your tickts than to have empty seats on the plane.....we probably won't ever fly Delta because of this.

  • Love Jet Blue. Can't stand to fly delta... but still do if the fare is cheaper and time is convenient.
  • I only fly Delta b/c I fly for free. Yes, you can hate me now. Stick out tongue

Wow, that's good information to know.  Sucks that I have already booked tickets for DS, DH and I on Delta for a trip in May.  I'll be pissed if we get bumped.

  • I swear by AirTran.  The service is always great, and I love the fifty dollar business class upgrade.  Anymore, I just factor that into my ticket cost, plus it gets you two free checked bags.
