It's my least favorite month of the year. Not only does it hold Mother's day, but also several family birthdays, an annual trip to visit MIL a six hour drive away, and two EDDs.
Both EDDs are the same day (may 31st), which I thought would be nice. Only one day to dread. But, no. I'm dreading this year so much more then I was last year. Why? Twice the disappointment. I should have a one year old, and a new born. But what do I have? An exercise bike I never use, and a very diverse liquor cabinet. Fabulous. I love my life.
If anyone needs me, I'll be in my bed crying and hiding from May. See you in June.

I'm sorry Emma. One of my losses happened right before Mother's Day so May is not a fun time for me either. Having children doesn't make it any better. I keep thinking about the ones that are missing from the table and DH has a bad habit of forgetting the day altogether so there is usually no celebration to speak of.
Skipping sounds like a wondeful idea.
PAL/PGAL Welcome
Yes, please! I'm so up for skipping the month of May. Lots of hugs for you, hang in there!
