Work Vent - Fat old men
We have this very nice middle aged man who works here that has started a weekly tradition this spring of Ice Cream Fridays! He brings in a gallon of ice cream every Friday with sprinkles/choc sauce etc for people to enjoy as the weather gets warmer. It always makes everyone happy.
There are 3 other women in my office of 400 who are currently pregnant. The last 2 weeks there are these 3 fat old men who sit over in the area where the ice cream is that have started making comments when any of the pregnant ladies come near the ice cream. Like you better get some quick or it will be gone! Watch out here come the ladies with the big appetites! etc.
Mind you that the one other girl and I are both very conscious about what we eat and don't use pregnancy as a reason to gorge ourselves and both only have 1 scoop with a couple sprinkles. My hormones almost got the best of me today and I really wanted to SMACK these men. I mean at least I am getting fat for a reason, what's their excuse???

Funny you should ask. The other girl I mention who is 6 weeks ahead of me in her first pregnancy is 2nd in command in our HR department!
