So I just found out that my very fertile friend is pregnant with her 4th! Her 3rd isn't even a year old yet...he will be in May. I'm so happy for her but I have to admit very jealous that she can get pregnant so easy.
I think it is totally normal to feel that way. I have some very fertile friends also and it can be hard. But hopefully your IVF will work and you can be pregnant with her. Positive energy your way!
TTC#1 since 7/07 with MFI and Endo/PCOS
IUI #1 and #2 with 50mg of clomid= BFN
IUI#3 with 100mg of clomid and Bravelle= BFN
Lap surgery 11-18-09= found Stage IV Endo
Three months of Depot Lupron Shots and adding 2000mg Metformin
IVF w/ ICSI May 2010 = BFP, M/C at 6 weeks
Break to lose weight, down 60 pounds and gearing up for IVF #2 in August 2011
This is my SIL... every year she was pregnant before her littlest's first birthday... four kids this way! My littlest nephew's 1st b-day was a couple weeks ago and I was dreading another announcement, but she seems to have broken her streak! I'm glad because that announcement may have broken me. And I know she hated having to tell me each year, knowing it wasn't happening for me. I say take some time to be down about it in private and get it out of your system, and try your best to be happy for her. *hugs*

I completely know how you feel--happy for (and a little jealous of) your friend, sad that it's not you yet, and a little guilt over feeling the jealousy. There should be a name for that combination of emotions...

Ditto this, lol! My SIL's third kid, my nephew who's 2 1/2 now, looks just like my husband as a baby... everyone comments on it. He is a little thicker whereas SIL and her DH and their other 3 kids are all skin & bones. DH & I have some meat on our bones to say the least. I always kid that we could take him and no one would be the wiser that he wasn't truly ours. ;-)
