Seriously today was the last straw. She is an inappropriate, trash mouth, irritating biatch. UGH. Sorry I just need to vent.
While I was doing her hair, she did not stop asking me questions (mainly about my pregnancy) or talking rudely about people for an hour and a half. I cannot stand her. I mean, to give an example, she asked me if I had ever had sex with other guys since my husband and I dated since we were so young. Really?? Why is that any of your business? Oh, and she said it was "gay" that I am not sharing our baby names with anyone.
Next time she calls, I want to just tell her I quit working. Thanks for listening. Vent over. Happy Friday. ![]()
Re: I wish I could "break up" with my client.
One of my professors once said that if you have a bad client raise your prices until they are no longer bad. Either they no longer like how much you charge and leave, or now they worth their pain in the assness.
So raise your price.
On a side note, I got my hair cut and colored last night and it looks fab, but my stylist talked the entire time about her two crazy pregnancies and gave TMI on the workings of her uterus amongst other things. Just so you know her sons are married with young children of their own, so we are not talking about recent pregnancies. I rarely speak at all when I am with her, usually she does all the talking.
I think you are right. 10/27...seems like forever.
She is just an overshare type of person. I really like her, so I am not going anywhere it took my a year and half to find her. But some things I was like ewww. Her stories also take weird tangents then circle around. You could get dizzy listening to her stories.
Yeah I could see that. I don't think I have ever disliked a client so much in my life. She is just beyond awful. I didn't even scratch the surface of things she was saying.
When I have clients that ask me stupid things or comment that way, I just ask them, "why do you want to know?" That normally shuts them up. I'm pretty quick with retorts anyway, but sometimes you have to let it slide and that SUCKS!
I can't believe she asked you that, though. I'd tell her you weren't available next time. For the rest of her life
I've only "fired" 2 or 3 clients, but people who suck my energy aren't worth my time.
Oh I forgot, when I said that I had a boyfriend all through high school, (since she asked) she was like "Whore". WTF?? I just stopped what I was doing and said "Really? I think that's the opposite of a whore. Don't ya think?"
I almost texted her after here appt. and was gonna be like "um fyi, this was be your last appt. with me. Thanks for your business." I didn't have the balls though. LOL Maybe I will get some next time she calls.
