Bloat is pokable, it grows and contracts as the day goes on, it's not hard, it's not always there.
A bump doesn't go away and is hard.
Everyone on this board is pretty much far too early to have a bump...our babies are somewhere between an orange seed and a blueberry big and are currently safely tucked behind our pubic bones
I always figure bump=baby, bloat=water retention/gas/less cute than baby things. I thought I had a bump, but now see it must've been bloat because it's gone now =( lol

Or if you got pregnant with in vitro, you may have the everlasting bloat like me! I am 8 weeks, and ever since the day of my BFP I have looked 3 months pregnant! Seriously, I gained 7 pounds and 5 inches around my stomach in ONE DAY, and it hasn't changed at all since. I am already wearing maternity clothes! So weird! Any other IVF girls have this issue?
