Relative to Halle Berry and her model boyfriend/baby daddy breaking up. 

 What is it with all these celebrity couples getting married and having kids or just being in a relationship, having kids, and then, when times get rough, calling it quits "just like that." Irreconcilable differences. I mean, is anyone out there in it "for the long haul" anymore? It just seems like celebrities, or people in general, just give up too easily on their marriage/relationships. 

**And I am not talking about those suffering from any form of abuse in their relationship. That I get.**

    Eh, you never really know what goes on behind closed doors or how long they may have been working on a problem.  It may seem like they end it "just like that", but all we see is the end when it's all over the tabloids. I would never try to presume that I have one iota of insight into the private lives of celebrities, no matter how "public" their lives may seem.

    Plus, I dont think celebs are really any different than any other person when it comes to their relationships. We just happen to SEE celebs lives everyday.

    I worked with a SW on custody evals in divorce court for a month.  I was always walking around thinking WTF?  Either, "WTF, why don't these people give this a shot...they have kids, and this doesn't seem to be that big of a deal."  or "WTF, how did these two people ever get together and have children in the first place."
