What is it about Elmo?

Nothing makes Tessie squeal with delight more than Elmo.  She loves the stuffed animal version and the books.  She lights up everytime she sees him.  She likes Bert and Ernie but not as much as Elmo.  DH and I always wonder what makes Emo so attractive to kids.

    Yep.. Eve is obsessed with Elmo too.. Although she doesn't love to watch sesame st or elmos world on TV.. but the books and stuff.. and she can spot Elmo ANYWHERE! I really don't know what it is!

    Have no clue, but whoever developed him is a genius. Ian can't watch an episode of Sesame Street unless it has Elmo has a main character.
