Kind of a bummer to never announce on here: 'we're team ___!' But I've had a surprise before and it's awesome. We'll just be announcing in a few more months instead.
...no point to my post really. just wanted to say hi!
i hate surprises. i am the worlds most impatient person ever!! haha i like the thoughts of being so overwhelmed in the delivery room finding out but im too nosey.. i need to know before hand haha
It was originally SO's idea, and within a few days, I warmed up to it, myself. It's fun!
I do hate the random "you guys are fvcking insane" comments, though. Oh well. Especially when it's SIL, and she's telling us that it's stupid to wait to find out.
Me! We waited until the delivery room to find out w/ DS and it was so much fun that we want to do it again. Of course, it's a surprise no matter when you find out...but I feel like in the delivery room it's a really big surprise. Love it!
I'm Team Green! I found out with DD, and while I enjoyed the surprise being revealed at the u/s, I am really excited about not knowing this time around.
I can honestly say I have no desire to find out. I never even considered it. I want all neutral gender stuff anyway because I don't want to have to buy more stuff for the next one if we have more.
My DH and I are contemplating not finding out, I just don't know how much more stressful it would be not to find out but I am sure the excitement of finding out in the delivery room would be AMAZING! We are VERY on the fence about this issue.. I don't know what to do! Anyone that has done it before any reassurance or advice?
We're Team Green, too! We were surprises to our parents, and I want our LO to be a surprise to us too!. Thankfully, DH just doesn't care one way or the other....

Sleep with Jesus sweet baby.
we did with DD and we will be doing it again. it is the best surprise in life. and I am one who hates surprises but for some reason I am ok with this one. lol. yahhh team green
We were looking forward to being Team Green and being surprised when she came out but because of complications we decided to ask. Gave us a piece of mind as literature says preemie girls do better than boys v
We were Team Green with DD and we found out with this one. After finding out both ways, I can state that the moment when you find out as a Team Green mommy is far, far more momentous than when you find out at the ultrasound.
So to all the Team Green ladies, you made an excellent decision waiting for the surprise!!
I'm trying so hard to stay Green! Our next ultrasound is May 25th and I'll be 21 weeks. I want to hold out so DH can have his "It's a ____!" moment, but I think he's getting anxious to know too...
Team green and it is getting harder and harder not knowing. My DH wanted to find out but I didn't. I promised him next time we will find out so he agreed to stay team green...I am so anxious to find out though.
We are team green!!! At first I wanted to find out, but then DH and I decided to wait. We want to enjoy the whole experience, especially the surprise in the delivery room.
my DH wants to know but not me. he'll find out next week and i'm SURE he'll let it slip or i'll see it on his face (he really wants a girl). in exchange, i've negotiated full naming rights though. i'm hoping he can keep it a secret but it doubt it.
like a previous poster said, it's so annoying when people ask WHHYYY? DON'T YOU WANT TO KNOW FOR THE SHOWER??? DON'T YOU WANT TO KNOW FOR YOUR NURSERY???

no, i don't!!
This is all I hear too..and honestly, I have been to showers where the couple is team green and it is so much more fun, as far as the nursery goes, I'm planning on making a gender neutral nursery anyway; in the long run it will be so much better!
We just had our anatomy scan on Wednesday and are still Team Green (on purpose). I am not a planner and could care less if I don't have a gender-specific nursery. Babies don't know the difference! If it's a girl and people have trouble figuring it out, I'll put a bow in her hair! What did people do all those years before they could find out the gender?
I am - we also were Team Green for our first DC and it was so awesome to find out in delivery! I'm sure it's just as awesome at your u/s but I always had in my head that I wanted that "it's a girl/boy" moment after giving birth!
US! I always wanted that moment after I delivered to have the doctor say ITS A GIRL OR BOY!
its so fun not knowing. people trying to guess. there is no need for me to find out. the bedding I want netural. I want to use it from baby to baby.
My sister never found out and it was just so much fun. my SIL just had her girl. we all knew it was a girl. It was exciting but not as exciting as when my sister had hers. We just couldnt wait to know what she had.

Team green here! I just think that moment at the delivery will be so much more emotional and special having my dh announce it. It's like his own way of bringing the baby into the world. (even though I did all the hard work! )

My DH & I are teach green on purpose! We want the suprise at the delivery...everyone that I have talked to that has done it this way says it is amazing and they wouldn't do it any other way. :-) So exciting!!
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
We are team green this time around. My husband wanted the surprise with our first baby but I was too impatient. I felt it would be easier to wait with the second and so far it has been. I truly have no desire to know ahead of time and can't wait for the surprise at delivery.
We are all about being Team Green. I was actually nervous about the u/s because I was scared I would see something (we didn't). It's funny to me when people say, "Well how do you know what to buy?" Um hello what did people do 30 years ago?!
Sweet! Lots of Green Teamers out there after all! It's gonna be awesome!!! I will be so surprised if it's a Boy or a Girl! This pregnancy is 100% different than w/my little boy, but who knows?!!!!
I love that my DH gets to go out in the waiting room again and tell the anxious Grandparents. That's gotta be so fun for him.

Team Green and loving it! Everybody keeps guessing and talking about the owt, it's fun.
I'm really looking forward to finding out delivery day but not knowing is great right now.

We're team green too - can't wait to see it!
But no one understands us not finding out either - everyone keeps asking how on earth we'll plan and how can we not want to know!?!?! etc...
But it'll be worth it when the big day comes
