Thank you Nintendo DS!!! Thank you!
Joey's routine in the morning now is to grab his DS and sit on the couch and play until I wake up. He usually gets up at 7:30....and he's not the quietest kid (actually, he's probably the loudest freaking kid!) so I normally hear him get up from his bed and go to the couch. I usually get out of bed at 8:30. Sometimes I fall back asleep in that hour, sometimes I just lay in bed (doze in and out).
Well, I went out last night and got home at 1:30. Slept horribly from 1:30-4 (because I was FREEZING and could not get warm) and then Cam got up at 4. Got her settled and I went back to bed and finally fell into a good sleep. Felt Joe kiss me goodbye at 7:00ish and then next thing I knew, it was 9. I got up and ran to Joey's room (he never sleeps that late). I thought something was wrong.
Nope, he was all snuggled in bed, playing his DS.
Hot damn, my kids ARE growing up!!! And that extra 60-90 minutes of sleep this morning....HEAVEN!

He LOVES Super Mario Bros. That is the one he plays most often (actually, the ONLY one he's been playing lately).
And I play it too....so when he can't get past a certain level or whatever, he will sit with me and have me do it. It's our bonding time!
He also has Lego Star Wars, Diego Safari Rescue, John Deere something or other....and a few others. But his fave is definitely Super Mario Bros.

Aden loved Mario Brothers. He has 7 other games, but that is the only one he plays. Sometimes he'll play monster trucks, but not very often.
