Ryan H.  was born at 6:18am!  He had some fluid on the lungs and will be in the NICU for 2 days although he isn't hooked up to anything, they are just monitoring him.

My friend was in labor for over 36 hours before having a c/s.  Her heart handled the labor and c/s very well and she is stable now.  They are still very closely monitoring her heart to make sure it handles the fluid.  She sounded wonderful when I spoke to her!!!!!!!

She has not been able to hold the baby yet and was only able to see him for a minute or two.  Her husband and stepson are alternating between her and Ryan and bringing pictures.  He is being cup fed for now with the hopes that she will be able to nurse.  She should be allowed to move a bit this afternoon so they will wheelchair her to the NICU.

She has far surpassed every expectation they had.  While she isn't in the clear, she is doing the best she possibly can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your T&Ps.  Someone heard and someone helped!  I truly feared I wouldn't get to write this this way, I hope it is legible through my tears!
