I've been having pretty good luck with pumping, but as the weather is nicer and the baby is older, I'm finding myself out of the house a lot more. I try to pump 5 times per day (6, 9, 1, 5, 9) and so far it's working. However, if I'm out during the day that 1:00 pump is pretty impossible.
What do you do? Can you train your body to pump just morning and night? I'm ok with supplementing with formula starting at 3 months, but I don't want to lose my milk supply completely. Any thoughts?
Re: Exclusive Pumpers - what to do when you're out?
My boys were in the nicu with low birth weights and bfing takes about an hour each which I'm not too keen on.
some of us have babies who never take to the boob, plus i just simply like it.
OP, I have a manual pump that I use in my car. I am really used to my manual though, so it doesn't take me long to empty.
I wish I could, DD pretty much won't BF anymore... I think its a combo of her reflux and getting "lazy".
