Snapping at my 3 year old

Ugh, bring on the guilt. I'm just about 37 weeks and am so easily irritated. I feel bad, I've been snapping at my 3 year old all morning! After making a huge breakfast for the fam and doing a ton of dishes all the sudden he's hungry again an hour later and wants waffles?! I just want to sit for a minute!

    My patience is verrrry thin with DS (who is 3).  I have to take lots of deep breaths to keep my cool and find myself losing it a lot more than I like.  I feel ya sister.

    I was just thinking about it this morning.  I feel like I'm always cranky with my dd and I feel bad.  It's not just the pg, we're dealing with some other issues too and it's been extremely stressful for the last two months.  I feel like thing will be back to "normal" soon but then I realize I'll be dead tired with a newborn to take care of.  At least I'll be able to sit when I have the baby - I won't have a choice :)

    I can totally relate.  To make it worse, my 3yo is being MORE demanding than usual (won't play by himself in the playroom, wants to be pushed on the swing on the playset, "I'm hungry" two seconds after eating).  SO IRRITATING.  He has been really independent and now I feel like we are backtracking just when the baby is due to arrive.  Not to mention that I have no energy to "play chase" or generally entertain him in the ways 3yo boys insist on being entertained.

    Aww. I find myself snapping at my DD every now and then, too.  She can be very loud sometimes and loves to climb into my lap (using my belly as something to hang on to) and squeal in my ear...

    Needless to say, my patience runs thin after she does this 5 times in 30 minutes.

    Let me join the club ladies. I am SO short tempered lately and the slightest whine sets me off snapping sometimes. One morning she was just being so, well 3 lol, and I couldn't get her ready,etc and I snapped at her. She finally said, "Mommy you are going to make me cry " and I said, "why would I do that" and she said "because you're being mean to me". My heart pretty much broke. :(

    I could have written this post.  I feel so guilty for being so short temepered.  I try and be patient but it does not work!
