  • P calls noodles nanoos.  He says it a lot too since that is once of his favorites!
  • Loading the player...
  • he calls spaghetti "basgetti"
  • Well, DS's speech is pretty impecable these days- his comprehension of figures of speech produce quite a few howlers. For example, today, DH mentioned not wanting to open a can of worms. DS was like, "ew, yeah, don't open the worms!" So I asked if he thought Daddy meant real worms, and he said, "Oh, no, just candy ones." Too funny.

When his speech was still off, my favorite thing I remember him mispronouncing was corn on the cob. He pronounced his C's like P's... that summer, we ate a lot of "porn on the pob". Needless to say, that story will haunt him throughout his life.

  • He says most things very well, however, he does say "baff" for bath and "chokky" for chocolate.

  • She pronounces spectacular "spectacLular" and is tries so hard to say it right, because she knows she's saying it wrong.

For a long time she called rhinosceroses "snort and snuff" (it's from the Sandra Boynton book Moo Baa Lalala).

  • Mine says "lellow" for yellow.  I hope it takes a long time for that to go away- I love it :)
  • Hungry is more like "horney"... ya I know.
  • Instead of pause she says plause and instead  of saying "IS it okay if I...."  she'll say "if it's okay if I..."
  • Most words he can't pronounce very well as he has a speech delay but the most notable are Trucks are "Co Co's" and planes/ helicopters are "Bows" (not to be confused with Boats which are "Bow Bow's")   I think "bows" come from wonder pet's fly boat. My favorite though is "Num Num's" for food LOL. It's so cute he'll come up and say "Num Num ME!" when he wants to be fed.

  • DS says frustrated like "fusturated" and for balloon he says "kaboon".
  • DD pronounces most words pretty well, but she says her "r's" like she's from the bronx or boston :oP  She also calls M&M's neminems :)

  • Eva says "untenna" for antenna and "lellow" for yellow.  My favorite thought is if she doesn't hear what someone says she'll ask, "What you said?".
