I take Zyrtec and it seems to do well with everything but the eyes and doesn't dry "everything" up. I use otc allergy eye drops when needed normally at night before bed because it is the only why I won't itch them to death when I put the drops in, giving them a change to work. If I'm really congested I use a neti pot which does wonders for the itchiness in my sinuses. HTH. I have terrible allergies pretty much year round because it doesn't get cold enough where I live to freeze and kill everything.
Edited: silly me I forgot a word.

I am taking Claratin, which is *supposed* to be fine. And I got diagnosed with asthma on Tuesday (lucky me) and am on an Albuterol inhaler, which is *supposed* to be fine.
