Does anyone have a suggestion for a good, safe, reasonably priced ($150-$200) convertible carseat? I registered for the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite, but after looking it up in Baby Bargains and finding that it has a "D" rating, I am reconsidering. Thanks in advance!

The Roundabout 50, Graco My Ride 65, and Evenflo Triumph are all really good options. You can usually find these all on sale. I know BRU carries all 3 seats, and you can you a 20% off coupon on them. Also, Albeebaby.com and hipmonkey.com usually have good sales as well.
ETA: FWIW, I wouldn't register for one either. The manufacturer sets expiration dates for them, so you would be losing time on your seat. I suggest just buying it when you need it, that way you can hopefully get a seat that isn't over a year old already.
Amazon has a great sale on Britax Boulevards right now. The moonstone is 21%+15% at checkout. It comes out to about $220 with free shipping
