NBR: Designers-Name That Font

Graphics ladies, I need your help. Our organization's logo is pretty old and no one has any idea of what fonts were used. I'm not good enough to ID them, so I need you! Any guesses?

im pretty sure it started out as garamond but was modified for the logo.

It's definitely modified. I wonder if you could find something similar on dafont.com. Maybe something celtic-inspired.
