Has anyone's LO experienced a rash with the Dry Max? I just picked up a box of Cruisers and DD's only been in them for a day, but so far, so good. I hadn't heard anything about this until now!
I think it depends on the sensitivity of your LO's skin. I've seen horrible pictures online and read too many stories here and elsewhere online.to take that chance. I'll stick with Huggies and hopefully they'll go back to the original Pampers at some point.

I mentioned this the other day because my daughter doesn't seem to have any issue whatsoever...and they were talking about it on 3-6, many of the girls were switching to cloth diapers because of it. I hadnt heard about it till then either.
DD has NEVER had a rash until last week....when we opened our first pack of sensitive swaddlers with dry max. I couldn't figure out why she was so red. It was like she had an imprint of the diaper in red on her body. Then she got bumps everywhere. She is not nearly as extreme as some of the poor babies I have seen online now, but once we stopped using those it went away.
We are looking in to cloth now while we are at home during the day and using 7th generation when we leave the house because of this.
It is too bad, I loved sensitive swaddlers before this.
I noticed that they smell very chemically. We use mostly cloth diapers, but as a newborn DD was in the Swaddlers. We bought a pkg recently for overnight when our grocery store was out of our usual brand (PC Green) and we noticed they really smelled (use to love the smell of the Pampers). Glad she didn't get a burn - I have had a chemical burn and it hurts like hell!

Wow, that's scary. Ds did have a diaper rash, it never seemed to bother him, but it was always red inside, no matter what we did. I just thought he was sensitive, but we've been using the dry max ones.
Unrelated to this, I decided to switch to cloth during the daytime. Yesterday was the first day we used them, and within hours, his rash is fading.
I really hope they switch back, I had liked pampers
Hi ? this is Tricia. I?m the
Community Manager of Pampers, but I?m also a mom of two, one who is still in
diapers and the other we are potty training. I just came across this
discussion and really wanted to respond and share with you some of my own
personal experiences. As you know, we have seen some parents reporting
that their children experienced severe rashes when using Dry Max. I hope
I can offer you some reassurances and let you know that Pampers diapers have
always been and will continue to be extremely safe and gentle for babies.
If I had any doubt, any doubt at all, I wouldn?t use the diapers on my own baby
who has had her own issues of rashes in the past. Please know that we take
every complaint very seriously and look into each and every call and email,
especially as it relates to babies? skin health. After a comprehensive
evaluation, we have found no connection whatsoever to the reported diaper
rashes and the materials we use in the Dry Max diaper. As background,
this diaper contains the same type of ingredients as our previous
Cruisers diaper. The improvement is that we were able to design it in a
new way, to make the diaper 20% thinner than
before. At the same time, diaper rash is a very common occurrence.
At any given time, more than 2 million US babies have diaper rash with 10% of
the cases being classified as severe. As a mom, my heart goes out to
anyone who is dealing with a rash, and I can see why a parent might blame a new
diaper if their baby?s rash happened at the same time as the switch. My
older son had experienced severe rashes when he was wearing the old Cruisers. I
was convinced it was the diaper, but our pediatrician assured us that diaper
rashes rarely have to do with the diaper. In fact, I know Pampers always get an
uptick in rash complaints every time a change is made ? even if it?s just a
change of characters on the outside of the diaper. The complaints this
time are actually trending low (about 2 rash complaints for every 1 million
diaper changes!), but the difference this time is they are playing out in
social media which is a lot more visible to consumers. Please know, our
first and only priority is the health and well being of babies. We would never
release any product that gave us even the slightest cause for concern ? in fact
Dry Max is one of the most tested product in
our history. With that being said, we do want to hear from you. Please
call our special 800 number (877-256-3265) to help us understand your
individual experiences. Thank you for your time and for using Pampers ? we
appreciate it!
DD has never has had very, very minor diaper rashes before that went away immediately after OTC treatments. After a week in the new cruisers dry max she broke out. She has very sensitive skin so I switched to the swaddlers sensitive dry max and treated her with OTC diaper creams. She got worse and worse. Finally got a prescription cream from the pedi.
We have now switched to Earth's Best. I love them! DD's rash is now much better.

Kayla, my BIL and SIL were using 7th Generation diapers and hated them, they said they leaked a ton.
