Parenting after 35

Back to pre-pregnancy weight

While I am excited that I've lost 26 lbs in 7 weeks ..I'm still overweight. Sad

I'll turn 40 in October so now is the time to get all of this extra weight off.  I still have baby weight from my first 2 kids.  The oldest is 14.  That's ridiculous!  How could I have let myself go for this long?

Besides, I need to get a lot more weight so I'll be in better shape during my next pregnancy - which could be anywhere from 6-18 months away!

For those of you watching your weight, what do you suggest?  Weight Watchers?  Low Carb?

Last year before our wedding I did WW & 30 Day Shred.  Am I strong enough to do 30 DS again?  It almost killed me last time! lol

  • Great job on losing the weight!  That's fantastic!

When I lost weight right before having DD, I used TheDailyPlate.com to track what I was eating.  It really helped me.  I just need to get myself motivated to do it again...THAT is the hard part Stick out tongue

  • Great job on the weight loss!  I have had previous success with WW, as have many ladies on the board.  There was a group that did the 30 day shred a while back - maybe folks would be up for another round of it? GL!
    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.
