Lingerie chest vs skinny armoire?

Is there such a thing as a skinny armoire? I'm looking for something narrow (no more than 30in wide) to store extra sheets and towels in our room. The geniuses who designed our townhouse decided against linen closets for some reason! Most of the ones I like are huge at 40+ inches wide. A lingerie chest would work in width, but I've never actually seen one in person. Are the drawers really shallow? What makes it different than a tall chest? Thoughts?

    My lingerie chest has really skinny drawers - although a lot of them.  (think of a brown lunch sac opened up and laid flat - that's how tall each drawer is).  Sheets wouldn't fit in mine.  I use mine for storing craft supplies. (It was a hand-me-down).
    Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
