This is a great list of cloth diaper safe detergents.
We used to use Purex Free and Clear and had no problems with it. We have since switched to Rockin' Green which we order online. Honestly I think the Rockin' Green does work better but its more expensive and some might think its annoying to have to buy it online.
This is how I decided on one: https://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com/detergentchoices.htm Also it depended on what I could find at Target at 2w post csection...so we went with the All small and mighty. So far so good. I just got some Country Save samples and may switch since we have super hard water.

I use Planet because it rated well on this chart and I can buy it locally. So far so good.
We just ordered Rockin Green and will start this weekend with it. I can't tell you if we like it or not. But, I can tell you that it gets rave reviews.

I don't think you should use oxiclean or borax on cloth diapers. We use Planet detergent, got it on amazon I think for about 10 dollars and haven't even finished our first box (she's been in CD since 3 weeks old). We also use BG's.
I use Rockin' Green...I order it from Merrimack Vally Diapers which is loacl to me but just google and you can find a place they will probably offer free shipping. It is the only detergent Ive liked so far.

Re: CD- what do you wash them in?

It's the only thing that has kept the microfiber stinkies away for us. Love it.
