CDing in Portland...

Hello ladies!

Do any of you Cloth Diaper?  Do you know if there are any local stores that do info nights...Im trying to get a handle on the options and convince DH that CD can work for us.

    I am not sure if they do, but try Mother Natures in se portland on clinton st.  They are SOOO helpful and have lots of different cloth diaper options.

    Milagro's in NE PDX has a great stock. Zoom Baby Gear in N PDX is good too. :)

    In addition to the other two stores, I think there is one in the Pearl that carries CDs. I typically go to Mother Nature's.

    Cotton Babies and Jillian's Drawers (websites) have really helpful information on getting started, options, etc. YouTube has some great videos on how to use the diapers. That really helped DH. His initial hesitation was just not knowing how to use the CDs and not feeling comfortable asking.

    I think this is my DH's problem too!  Thanks for the info!  Im trying to convince him and this will help?  Do any of you use Gdiapers?  They seem to have mixed reviews but I noticed that BRU is now carrying the cloth inserts....

    We CD, but we are more south.

    I've heard bad things about gdiapers. We use a variety of diapers. My favorites are Bumgenius one size all in one organic diapers.

    I love the gro diapers, bumgenius, and the rumparoos brands. I shop online at Abbyslane.com  They have alot of information about cloth diapering on their website.  I hope this helps you.

    I do and I agree with the recs of Milagros and Mother Natures.  I use Tidee Didee service and they have a shop on Powell and the Ninety Deuce that has some covers.  If you are looking for a service they may be able to help you decide on options.
